Il Picciolo Golf Club
Sicily’s first ever 18-hole golf course, Il Picciolo Golf Club is located on the slopes of Mount Etna. Designed by Luigi Rota Caremoli in 1989, the course cover 5,870, and uses the natural lava stone from Mount Etna to form the holes. Laid on hilly terrain, the club has hosted five open championships including the Sicilian Ladies Italian Open from 1995 to 1997. In addition to the 18-hole par 72 course, the club boasts a driving range with 16 stations, a putting green and a pitching green.
